The last members of the Bauhaus Brigade were transferred to the Gorstroy Project, where they designed the quarter 83/8 in Orsk, under direction of the former member of the May-brigade Hans Schmidt.
In 1938 all plans for Orsk were taken away. Tolziner was falsely convicted for espionage and had to go to a work camp in the forests near Perm.
Tolziner
in an interview with Rongwrong: "I have no regrets I have worked very productively
all my life. And I survived because I was trained in the Bauhaus. The kind of
person I was made me able, or should I say: I was lucky enough to survive."
